Take a paper towel roll or wrapping paper tube, secure the end of the lights with tape, and start winding them around. At the end, tuck the plug inside or tape it so nothing comes loose.

When it’s time to light up the tree again next year, you’ll thank yourself. No knots, no frustration. Just unwind, plug in, and you’re done.

2. A hanger from your wardrobe

A classic!
A clothes hanger can be used for more than just clothes – simply wrap the lights around it in a figure-eight pattern and secure the end.

3. A cable reel for perfectionists
